Simple Sous Vide Recipes For Fall

Not just for francophiles.

Sous Vide is an intimidatingly French name for a kitchen gadget, like the Anova Sous Vide Immersion Cooker, but we promise it’s less complicated than it sounds. In simple terms, it’s a cooking process that involves vacuum sealing food before cooking the food in temperature-controlled water. The key being that the cooking temperature doesn’t fluctuate and ??????the food heats gradually. Basically, it’s going to take way longer to cook your steak, but it’s going to be the best steak you have ever made and the closest you have ever felt to being:

__A. French B. A real foodie C. All of the above __

This isn’t to say you need to pack away your insta-pot and slow cooker, (we have no beef with two kitchen tools that make braised beef on a weeknight possible.) Sous Vide is definitely not going to be your everynight go-to gadget, but it’s perfect for entertaining~ impressing friends or an elevated Sunday roast with family.

Here’s a few of our favorite sous vide recipes to get you started on mastering your Fall dinners and desserts.
